The controversial prophet from South Africa, who was well-known for forcing his followers to eat snakes and saying he had transformed them into chocolate in the same way that Jesus had turned water into wine, is said to have passed away following a cobra bite during one of his healing sessions.

The prophet became well-known around the world for his strange and radical customs. In a matter of weeks, he became well-known for forcing his followers to take off their clothes, eating strange objects like braids, paper, rocks, and dirt, and riding them like donkeys.

In one of his most stunning acts, he brought live snakes into his services and declared that by divine intervention, believers might eat the deadly reptiles, which would taste like chocolate.

The prophet was dubbed “Snake Pastor” in South Africa after a large number of followers claimed that the snakes actually tasted like chocolate. He was well-liked, but his actions soon brought him legal issues.

His techniques of killing and exploiting live animals were harsh and against the law in South Africa, according to the South African Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), which filed a complaint of animal cruelty against him. His church was promptly deregistered for misconduct by the regulatory agency in charge of supervising churches in South Africa, and he was summoned for a disciplinary hearing.

Due to the prophet’s disobedience, talks were held regarding getting a court order requiring his presence. When political activists from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) attacked his church and destroyed his tent and other items, tensions increased.

However, this incident sparked a response in favor of the prophet, citing South Africa’s constitutional guarantee of religious freedom. Subsequently, the EFF asserted that the harm was caused by rogue individuals who were not associated with the party. The most recent startling event occurred when the Snake Pastor’s death was announced by the South African newspaper iMzansi.

Penuel Mnguni, 24, was bitten by a snake during a service, according to Soshanguve Police. He was bitten, but he refused medical attention and went to his brother’s house instead, where he passed away. The local coroner affirmed his passing, and while churchgoers remained silent, there was a rumor that there wouldn’t be a burial because they thought he will rise from the dead.

The church’s already dubious reputation was further damaged by a recent event in which a female bishop grabbed the pastor’s reproductive organs during a live service.
