To give participants in this year’s JAMB exam more freedom of movement, the Adamawa State Government has halted its monthly sanitation exercise for the month of April.
This month’s sanitation exercise in Adamawa State is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, which also happens to be the day of the JAMB exam.
According to a letter released by the state government on Friday, the monthly exercise will not be held in April “due to the conduct of JAMB examinations at the various centers across the country.”
“There will be NO restriction of movement,” the state Ministry of Environment stated in the suspension notice.
Mohammed Sadiq, the Environment Commissioner, personally signed the notice, which also said, “The Government urges the general public to continue maintaining a clean environment while our staff will proceed with their routine activities.”
