A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Umar Sani, has said the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, does not possess any documents belonging to the party.

Sani made the disclosure on Thursday while speaking during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’.

He was reacting to comments made by Wike during his media parley on Wednesday, where the minister challenged the Taminu Turaki-led faction to open any bank account or office, threatening to seal it.

“Wike cannot even claim to have the documents of the party, because by our party constitution, that responsibility is bestowed on the Board of Trustees, BoT.

“They decided to form their own BoT, and now, our BoT, led by former Senate President Adolphus Wabara, is the conscience and custodian of assets of the party.

“So where does Wike have documents to say that he is holding the documents? He does not have any documents. He’s just on national television trying to impress Nigerians,” Sani said.
