Police arrest 25 year old man for sodomizing 12 children in Jigawa

Sani, 25, was arrested by Jigawa State police in Basurka town, Gwaram local government, for reportedly sodomising 12 minors.

This was revealed to reporters by police spokesperson DSP. Lawan Shiisu Adam.

He claimed that before sexually abusing his victims, the suspect would entice them with presents like cash, candies and biscuits, and cell phones so they could play games and watch films.

According to him” Police in Basurka town received a report that one Sani of the same address used to lure children and sodomized them”

He said that following receipt of the report, the suspect was taken into custody and brought to the State headquarters’ CID section for a covert investigation.

The defendant confessed to the crime during the interview and stated that he picked up the act while residing in Zaria.

After being brought to the hospital, the victims’ abuse was verified by the attending physician.

He acknowledged committing the crime, and he will face charges in court.

However, the police spokesperson cautioned the parents to keep an eye on their kids and friends.
