Veteran music producer and singer, J Martins, has called on the defunct P-Square duo, Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye, to resolve their differences privately instead of taking their dispute to social media.

The ‘Cool Temper’ crooner made the appeal following the recent disclosure by Peter Okoye that he intends to change his birthday to a different date from that of his twin brother, citing alleged betrayal involving Paul and their elder brother, Jude.

J Martins, who worked closely with the group as a producer for many years, maintained that Peter’s decision to alter his birthday over a disagreement is difficult to comprehend.

He further advised the Okoye brothers to settle their issues amicably in order to avoid bringing disrepute to the Igbo community.

Taking to his X handle, Martins wrote, “These are my brothers for more than two decades. I still don’t understand why one will just wake up decades to change his own birthday separate from his twin brother?

“@PeterPSquare and RudeboyPsquare can we fix these stuff inside our house and bring this shame on ‘Ndi Igbo nke anyi’”.
