Armed terrorists kidnapped at least six young females between the ages of 15 and 17 during a house-to-house attack in Pandogari Community, Rafi Local Government Area, Niger State.

The crime took place at midnight on Wednesday, when the attackers stormed the neighbourhood, killing a local vigilante, Aliyu Aminu, before kidnapping the girls.

According to reports, highly armed terrorists penetrated the area in significant numbers, coming via the Birnin Gwari axis and Mamman Kontagora Technical College in Pandogari.

According to sources, the abducted females were later transferred to Kwangel Forest.

This is the third attack on the neighbourhood in just a week.

Residents believe that the rise in attacks follows negotiations between the Kaduna State Government and several armed groups, and that the agreements reached have not worked in their favor, leaving them vulnerable to further assaults.
