Tragic incident in Abia: Man allegedly sets wife, three children ablaze over suspected affair

A man is accused of setting his wife and three children on fire in Asaumudim, Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, Abia State, on Saturday morning, causing a terrible tragedy.

The early-morning altercation is believed to have been caused by the man’s belief that his wife was having an affair because her phone was ringing a lot.

Local sources claim that before starting the fire that resulted in the horrifying fatalities, the suspect doused his family with a combustible chemical.

Although authorities have not yet issued any statements, the incident has shocked the neighborhood, with locals expressing their fury and grief.
