Maryam, a 103-year-old woman, has disclosed that she has never married and has always hoped to wed a Mzungu (white) guy who expressed interest in her 75 years ago.

Maryam claims that when she first met the missionary in 1950, he promised to marry her again and take her overseas. Fearing that choosing another man would disappoint her long-awaited husband, she has turned down every other suitor over the years, believing in his promise.

Maryam maintains that she is still searching for the man who captured her heart, even after decades have gone by. Reactions to her narrative have been mixed; some have praised her patience and commitment, while others have questioned whether the missionary really planned to return.
