During an attempt to move a resolution in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adigun Abass was recently caught struggling to express himself.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegate for Oyo state’s Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency was clearly having difficulty expressing his views, so Speaker Tajudeen Abbas stepped in and helped him navigate the motion.

Hon. Abass struggled despite the Speaker’s efforts, and after multiple unsuccessful attempts, he was permitted to take his seat again.

Many people have questioned his credentials and those of other National Assembly representatives who represent constituents on social media in the wake of the unfortunate incident.

Nonetheless, some have gathered around him, applauding his accomplishments in his constituency. One commenter said that Hon. Agboworin is a performer, mentioning his numerous empowerment programs, but that he needs to work on his communication skills. Another constituent added that they don’t care about his English because he has completed innumerable projects in his constituency, such as infrastructure, security, and scholarships.
