When her boyfriend doesn’t ask for her approval first, a Nigerian woman takes dramatic measures and cuts off his dreadlocks.

The man surprised his girlfriend with his new appearance in a video that was posted online. The woman voiced her disapproval and insisted on his previous hairstyle instead of dreadlocks.

In the talk, the woman questioned him about why he hadn’t told her before growing dreadlocks. Tearfully, his girlfriend confessed she couldn’t stand seeing her lover with dreadlocks.

In order to maintain peace and satisfy his girlfriend, the man determined that she should get her dreadlocks cut off.

Another video shows the woman who was angered by her boyfriend’s disrespect for her and cuts off his dreadlocks.

The man was bald, depressed, and ashamedly covered his face.

Some internet users thought the woman’s behaviour was excessive because she was a girlfriend rather than a wife.

Internet commenters likened the situation of the lovers to the historical occurrence of Samson and Delilah, two biblical characters.

Many argued that in order to prevent negative outcomes, spouses should talk to their spouse before making a big change to their look.
