Mrs. Bose Ogulu, the mother and manager of Afrobeats star Burna Boy, has urged the award-winning singer to begin thinking about marriage and raising a family.

She made the appeal while joining family members and close associates to celebrate Burna Boy’s 35th birthday on July 2.

A video from the private celebration, shared on Snapchat by one of the singer’s associates, Richie 7, captured the moment Mrs. Ogulu encouraged her son to include thoughts of marriage and children while making his birthday wish.

When invited to make a wish, Burna Boy said, “I wish for good health and prosperity.”

His mother quickly responded, “Add good wife and children.”

The exchange has since attracted reactions from fans across social media platforms.

The singer had previously explained why he has remained unmarried and without children despite his success in the music industry.

Speaking during an earlier interview, Burna Boy revealed that his demanding career leaves him with little time to devote to family responsibilities.

He stressed that he does not want to father children outside marriage or bring children into the world without being fully available to play an active role in their upbringing, noting that his current stage as a musician requires significant commitment.
