Young girl, mother beat father to death in Delta community

After her father questioned her about her second unmarried pregnancy, a young girl named Onyinye and her mother are said to have beaten him to death.

The event happened in Delta State’s Sapele Local Government Area along Urhobo Road.

It was discovered that after his daughter became pregnant again for a man he had never met, the deceased questioned her.

According to reports, the deceased, a commercial tricycle operator, was scolding his daughter for getting pregnant for the second time when she lost her temper and attacked, knocking him out cold.

According to reports, Onyinye’s mother swiftly shut the door and joined her daughter in attacking the husband till he collapsed and struck his head on the floor.

Before neighbors could step in and pry open the door, he reportedly passed away instantaneously.

According to local sources, when locals heard an alert, the police were called and the mother and daughter were arrested.

However, SP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for the Delta State Police, stated that the incident had not been recorded when he was approached for formal information.
