The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement has announced a 59-member Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the National Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, Saadatu Sani.

According to the statement, the council comprises zonal and state coordinators, alongside directors overseeing mobilisation, women affairs, strategy, security, legal affairs and other key directorates.

It also stated that the Director-General of the Movement, John Ughulu, will serve as the Director-General of the Campaign Council, while National Secretary Saadatu Sani is also included in the campaign leadership.

The statement further revealed that the council has coordinators representing the six geopolitical zones and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

The appointed zonal coordinators are Suleiman Abubakar for North Central, Hashimu Dungurawa for North West, Amadu Gwambe for North East, Adebayo Adefolaseye for South West, Christopher Ighodaro for South South and El-Shaddai Ikeh for South East.

Other appointments include Ibrahim Jabir as FCT Coordinator, while Maiyaki Samson, Tokji Mandim, Yusuf Abdullahi, Aliyu Tershaku, Awal Goma and Kazeem Olawuyi were named coordinators for Kogi, Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue, Niger and Kwara respectively.
