Elon Musk, a tech entrepreneur in the United States, has disclosed that his detractors want him assassinated because he is combating fraud.
In an interview with Fox News, he revealed this, then he shared it on his X account.
His remarks followed demonstrations against President Donald Trump and Elon Musk that shook American streets on April 5, 2025.
In response, Musk said that he and Tesla are being targeted because he is halting what he described as “terrible waste and corruption in government”.
“They basically want to kill me because I’m stopping their fraud. And they want to hurt Tesla because we’re stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government,” he said.
“I guess they’re bad people, and bad people will do bad things.”
Of an effort to reduce the cost of government, Musk, a leader at the Department of Government Efficiency and an advisor to President Trump, has conducted a number of investigations of federal agencies and departments, including USAID, Education, Health, Defense, and the Treasury Department.
