The Rotary Club of Annapolis recently presented a $108,000 donation to Amy Marshall, founder of Marshall Hope Corporation. The funds came from the club’s successful 2025 Black Tie & Diamonds Gala, which welcomed 240 guests and raised a record amount for the organisation.

According to Bob Young, president of the Rotary Club of Annapolis, the event was a huge success. “What a home run for our Black Tie & Diamonds event!” he exclaimed, thanking the Rotary team, Marshall Hope team, and community sponsors for their contributions.
Young added, “Not only was it fun – but it was also a record breaker. My deepest gratitude goes to both our hard-working Rotary team and Amy Marshall and her Marshall Hope team. We truly appreciate our generous Annapolis and Anne Arundel County community sponsors that contributed to making this our most successful year.”
He emphasised the club’s commitment to community service, saying, “This was truly what Rotarians do – giving to our community – Service above Self!”
Amy Marshall was grateful for the donation, saying, “I am so incredibly thankful to the Rotary Club of Annapolis for their generosity and the overwhelming outpouring of kindness from the community.” She added that the funds would make a significant difference in the lives of many families in Annapolis.
“The funds raised will have a meaningful impact on so many families in Annapolis, and for that, we are beyond grateful,” Marshall said.
The event’s success was made possible by numerous sponsors, including CFG Bank, which served as the Hope Diamond Sponsor. Other sponsors included FLAVORx, Belfast Valley Contractors, Atlas Restaurant Group, and more.
The Rotary Club of Annapolis has already announced the beneficiary for next year’s gala: Chrysalis House. The club’s annual event continues to support local nonprofits, demonstrating its commitment to community service
