As the conflict with Israel continues, U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran, urging the country to choose peace or face more severe consequences soon.

Trump made the statement during a global address delivered after U.S. forces launched airstrikes on three of Iran’s major nuclear facilities.

He revealed that the U.S. military had successfully targeted and struck the nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan the previous night.

During his speech, the president cautioned that any future military operations against Iran whom he labeled the “bully of the Middle East” would be carried out with even greater ease.

Trump said: “Iran the bully of the Middle East must now make peace and if they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.

“For 40 years, Iran has been saying death to America and Israel, they have been killing our people, blowing off their arms and legs with their road side bombs.

“We lost over a thousand people and hundreds of thousands around the Middle East have died as a result of their hate.

“I decided a long time ago that I will not let this happen and continue, I want to congratulate PM Netanyahu, we worked as a team, perhaps no team has ever worked before and we have gone a long way in erasing this threat to Israel.

“There will be either peace or tragedy for Iran, greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.”
