Nancy Nnadi, popularly known as Coach Nancy and Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has revealed that discussions are currently underway to resolve the royalty dispute involving gospel artist Mercy Chinwo.
She shared this update while publicly withdrawing her earlier defamatory comments directed at Chinwo.
In January 2025, Mercy Chinwo took legal action against her former label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (widely known as Eezee Tee), accusing him of misappropriating music royalties totaling $345,000.
This legal dispute surfaced about two years after the singer ended her association with EeZee Conceptz, reportedly due to disagreements surrounding finances.
During the ongoing case, Nancy Nnadi had previously alleged that Chinwo was involved in financial misconduct. In response, the gospel singer filed a defamation lawsuit against Nnadi, demanding both a public apology and the deletion of the statements from Nnadi’s social media accounts.
Over the weekend, Nnadi used her Instagram platform to officially retract the accusations she had made against Chinwo.
She also expressed hope for a peaceful resolution between the label and the singer, stating that the reconciliation efforts are currently being guided by prominent faith leaders.
“While praying that God should perfect the label’s ongoing peace settlement with Chinwo,” she wrote, noting that trusted religious figures are actively involved in mediating the process.
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. As well pray that Almighty God perfects ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz,” she wrote.
