Famous Nigerian musician, Davido has expressed gratitude to his father, Adedeji Adeleke, for supporting him in the midst of the ongoing paternity drama involving his alleged baby mama, Ayo Labinjoh.

Aanu Adeleke, Ayo Labinjoh’s teenage daughter, had written an open letter to her purported father, Davido, a week earlier, requesting a paternity test.

Davido claimed in several posts on X that he had never seen the woman before and that five DNA tests conducted previously indicated Aanu Adeleke is not his daughter.

Ayo Labinjoh, who maintained that Davido is the father of her daughter, labeled the DNA test as fake in response.

Amid the controversy, Adedeji Adeleke defended his son and revealed during a press conference on Wednesday that paternity tests were carried out on both Davido and B-Red, who is a singer and Davido’s cousin.

Davido expressed gratitude to his father for the public support in response to the development, in a post on his Instagram page on Thursday.

The singer shared a photo of them together and wrote, “Thank you my loving Father.”
