Renowned Afrobeat musician Burna Boy has declared that the only artist greater than him is the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the founder of Afrobeat.

This arose during the ongoing feud between Wizkid and Seun Kuti, Fela’s youngest son.

After fans of Wizkid drew comparisons between him and the late Fela, the two engaged in a fiery dispute on Tuesday.

Upon the development, Seun Kuti, who appears to be uneasy about Wizkid’s comparison to his father, launched an attack on Wizkid.

After the escalation, discussions regarding Fela’s legacy and influence created divisions among Nigerians on social media, including celebrities. Some condemned Wizkid for supposedly disrespecting the late Afrobeat legend, while others blamed Seun for Wizkid’s responses.

Nevertheless, in a video that Tunde Ednut shared on Instagram on Saturday evening, Burna Boy stated “Fela is the king. He is the only one greater than me.”
