A former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Gwarzo, has resigned his membership from the African Democratic Congress.
In a resignation letter addressed to the party chairman in Gwarzo Local Government Area, Gwarzo stated that his decision takes immediate effect.
According to the former deputy governor, his exit from the ADC is influenced by recent political developments and the need to reassess his affiliation in line with his political aspirations.
“The decision comes after deep reflection and wide consultations with my political associates, supporters and well-wishers across the state,” he said.
He further explained that the changing political landscape necessitated a new direction in his political journey.
