Dangote Refinery-backed MRS filling stations and other petroleum retailers across Nigeria have once again adjusted their petrol pump prices downward.

A market survey conducted by ZINGTIE on Monday revealed that MRS filling stations reduced the price of petrol to N1,210 per litre from N1,260 in Abuja and neighbouring areas.

The latest adjustment represents a N50 per litre reduction by MRS.

Similarly, AA Rano and other filling stations located along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja lowered their petrol prices by N25 per litre to approximately N1,275 on Monday.

The development follows last week’s decision by Dangote Refinery to reduce the prices of petrol and Automotive Gas Oil, AGO.

Recall that eight days earlier, MRS and other filling stations had also reduced their pump prices by between N25 and N45 per litre.
