Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham, has revealed that her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, once threatened to end their marriage if she refused to quit smoking.

The actress made the disclosure during a recent appearance on The Moraya Show.

Abraham said she was previously addicted to cigarettes but eventually stopped smoking after her husband warned that the habit could affect their marriage.

She praised Ajeyemi for the positive influence he has had on both her personal life and career, describing him as one of the best things that has happened to her.

However, the actress disclosed that although she has stopped smoking cigarettes, she still uses vape products.

“My husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi is one of the best things that ever happened to me. He lets me shine and be me. I used to be a cigarette addict but he warned me that if I don’t stop smoking our marriage won’t work. I had to stop it because I valued my marriage. Well, I have stopped cigarettes but I still do vapes,” Abraham said.

She further described her husband as non-controlling, explaining that he allows her to make her own choices and pursue whatever makes her happy as long as it does not put her safety at risk.
