Nigerian singer Orezi has declared that he would sever ties with any of his friends who express support for American mother Lindsay Clancy over the deaths of her three children.

The singer made his position known in a post published on his official Instagram account while weighing in on reactions to Clancy’s case.

Orezi maintained that he would not tolerate any form of sympathy or support for Clancy from his friends, irrespective of the perspective from which they choose to assess the case.

“If you are my friend and I see that you support Lindsay Clancy in any type of way, no matter what angle you decide to judge her situation from, consider our friendship over,” he wrote.

He further warned that he would engage in a serious confrontation with any friend who attempted to argue with him over the matter, saying he could not comprehend anyone expressing empathy towards Clancy.

“That woman strangled her 3 kids to death, 3 oooh. One of them was 8 months old,” the singer said.

Orezi ended his remarks by demanding that Clancy remain behind bars, writing: “She should rot in jail.”
