A Babalawo has publicly called out Nigerian content creator Peller, claiming that the skit maker sought his spiritual assistance before gaining widespread popularity.

The traditionalist made the allegation in a video circulating on social media, expressing frustration over what he described as Peller’s failure to acknowledge him after becoming famous.

Addressing the content creator directly, the Babalawo claimed: “Peller, Peller, Peller! I did juju for you to make you blow.”

He further alleged that Peller visited his shrine several years ago in search of his assistance.

“I remember the time you came to my shrine begging and crying on the ground.”

The traditionalist claimed that Peller has remained popular for more than three years but has allegedly failed to return to the shrine or recognise the role he supposedly played in his rise.

“For over 3 years now you’ve been blowing, but you don’t remember me. You’ve forgotten me, baba.”

He went on to express anger over the alleged neglect and issued a warning concerning Peller’s future success.

“Peller, I am angry with you. I swear to God – you no go see money again, you’ll be as poor as anything.”

The Babalawo also called on the content creator to return and “do the right thing,” warning that failure to do so could affect his prominence.

“You better come and do the right thing, or else you will not reign again.”

The claims have generated reactions across social media, with users debating the traditionalist’s allegations and the extent of his purported involvement in Peller’s journey to fame.
