Ikolo Clement, the monarch of the Ewu kingdom and one of the wanted suspects declared by the Nigerian military, surrendered to the police.

The Nigerian Army Defence Headquarters declared eight persons wanted, including Clement, the recently installed traditional ruler of Ewu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State.

Due to the March 14 killing of 17 soldiers at Okuama Community, they were wanted.

Akevwru Daniel Omotegbono, popularly known as Amagbein, is another suspected militant leader declared wanted. A few days after the incident, soldiers tracked Amagbein to the Igbomoturu hamlet in Southern-Ijaw Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, but could not locate him.

Professor Ekpekpo Arthur, the president-general of Ewu, and Reuben Baru, the young man who recently filmed a viral video explaining why they killed the soldiers, are among the wanted persons.

One of the wanted persons’ mothers is purportedly Igoli Ebi. It is suspected that Atata Malaw David and Sinclear Oliki are members of the Amagbein gang.
