Afrobeat singer Davido has weighed in on the ongoing political disagreement between the All Progressives Congress, APC, governors and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

Reporters reported that the Progressive Governors Forum, PGF, led by Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, had turned down Wike’s proposed Rainbow Coalition.

The coalition is a multi-party political initiative backing President Bola Tinubu’s bid for re-election in 2027.

While rejecting the proposal, Uzodimma stated that APC governors would not support alliances involving different political parties.

Reacting to the unfolding development, Davido said, “It’s going to be a movie.”
