Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, has refuted claims that the Afrobeats singer is secretly working with the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Israel addressed the rumours in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, describing them as fabricated stories allegedly circulated to attract attention and generate engagement on social media.

He urged Nigerians to disregard the reports, insisting that Davido’s previously stated position on political endorsements had not changed.

He said, “Dearest Nigerians, kindly disregard the useless rumours going around that Oga has been secretly or is currently working for the APC.

“All are totally fabricated lies to gain social media traffic. His earlier stance still remains.

“Oga has rejected several millions of dollars to endorse any of the presidential candidates. He keeps saying he would be with Nigerians, who are going through a lot, and that he would never betray them at all. What else do Nigerians want again?”

Davido had previously come under intense criticism after his uncle publicly declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
