Fresh details emerge after mass abduction in Oyo community

Details of the students and teachers kidnapped recently in Oyo State have been released.

ZINGTIE recalls that an unspecified number of students and teachers were abducted in the early hours of Friday.

The victims were kidnapped at Ahoro-Esinele and other neighbouring communities in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The incident has been confirmed by the Oyo State Police Command.

The communities, in a statement obtained by ZINGTIE on Sunday evening, disclosed that 39 students and seven teachers were abducted.

It was also revealed that four motorcycles were hijacked by the kidnappers.
