Tuesday, ZINGTIE reported that Super Eagles winger Moses Simon successfully underwent surgery on his fractured left leg.

Simon sustained the injury in Tuesday night’s 2-0 friendly defeat to the Eagles of Mali.

During the first half, the 28-year-old collided with Mali goalkeeper Mamadou Samassa and required a stretcher to exit the field.

His subsequent announcement from Nantes, his French club, was that he had been sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Following surgery, it is anticipated that Simon will initiate his rehabilitation.

He has registered six assists and three goals for Nantes this season.
