Man who was pastor for 16 years makes rare confession after quitting ministry

After leaving the ministry, a former pastor made an intriguing admission about leading a church.

In a TikTok post, the man revealed that he had been a pastor for 16 years before deciding to quit.

The man’s TikTok handle is @kyle_talks. He describes himself as “an ex pastor – ex Jesus freak – who is now just a human being” on his page.

Kyle claimed to be confessing about the job he quit in the viral video he shared.

He went on to say that he has given up ministry entirely and never longer attends church.

He said that the things that pastors say to their congregation are frequently their own opinions rather than things that God has revealed to them.

His words: “I was a Christian pastor for nearly 16 years. Let me tell you something pastors won’t tell you. Everything your pastor tells you, whether it be something they believe that God said, or something that God doesn’t want you to do, or whatever it is. Every single thing a pastor tells you is their opinion only. It’s not true, it’s their opinion.”
