The national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Seriake Dickson, has reacted to the uploading of the party’s approved logo on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, portal.

In a post shared on his verified X handle on Tuesday, Dickson commended the Nigerian judiciary and INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan, alongside members of the commission’s team, for complying with the court’s judgment.

The former Bayelsa State governor also expressed appreciation to the National Chairman of the NDC, Moses Cleopas, and members of the National Executive Committee, NEC, for their efforts and commitment.

Dickson urged all stakeholders to work together to ensure that every candidate is allowed to campaign freely and take their messages to all parts of Nigeria without intimidation.

“Our approved logo has now been uploaded, and candidates can print campaign materials and continue their consultations and campaigns with certainty.

“We are fighters, and we will fight until the end. We have resisted those who sought to use the judiciary against the party, and they have failed.

“I call on all candidates to work with the party at all levels in the composition of their campaign teams as they are not independent candidates and avoid self-sabotage.

“The NDC is a product of vision, selfless dedication, and commitment to democratic ideals. We are prepared to fight to uphold the democratic rights of Nigerians and to ensure that multi-party democracy thrives,” he stated.
