A Nigerian man named Sam Odeg has publicly apologized to guests who were not served food at his wedding two years after the event.

Sam said on Facebook on Tuesday that he truly felt sorry for those who traveled far to join him and his spouse in celebrating, only to return home hungry.

However, he pointed out that it was due to financial constraints rather than being deliberate.

The single father claimed that others who were unaware of his financial difficulties teased him and his wife.
