Lobi Stars have unveiled a revised resumption date for the 2026-27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The players and club officials were initially expected to resume pre-season training today.
However, the team will now report to camp on Sunday, 28 June 2026.
According to the Makurdi-based club, full training sessions will officially commence on Monday, June 29.
The change in schedule is aimed at giving the coaching crew adequate time to complete pre-season planning and logistics before the squad returns to the pitch.
Lobi Stars are looking to make a strong statement in the NNL next season following what they described as a disappointing campaign.
The Pride of Benue struggled for consistency last season and failed to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Meanwhile, the club is currently running a talent identification exercise across Benue State to discover young players who could strengthen the senior team in the future.
