Alan Hutton, a former Premier League player, has suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo, the all-time top scorer in football and Portugal international, might be able to continue playing until the age of 45.
Ronaldo, who celebrated his 40th birthday in February 2025, shows no indication of slowing down despite his age.
The captain of Portugal has already scored 33 goals in various competitions for Al-Nassr this season.
The legendary former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus player could be offered a two-year contract extension with Al-Nassr.
Hutton, who once played against Ronaldo in the Premier League, shared his thoughts on BoyleSports: “Cristiano Ronaldo likely believes he can play until 45 without any issues.”
“The way he looks after himself day to day, there’s no reason that he can’t go and play for another few years.
“He’ll feel that he can, no problem. He’ll feel that he can still score goals. So I feel that he would go on for as long as possible.
“And rightly so. If you feel good, why shouldn’t you?”
