Sa’ad bin Atef al-Awlaki, a top commander of al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), has made a terrifying call for the murder of Elon Musk, the tech millionaire, and President Donald Trump, among other well-known Americans.

Naijaonpoint discovered that this is in accordance with a video that was uploaded to X (previously Twitter) on Tuesday.

The Daily Letter’s founder and Chief White House Correspondent Simon Ateba posted the video, which depicts the AQAP chief calling for violence against American commercial and political figures in revenge for the country’s ardent backing of Israel.

Al-Awlaki calls on Muslims in the United States, regardless of their nationality, to exact revenge for what he says are atrocities against Islam and Palestinians in the video.

“We call on all Muslims in America… revenge, revenge,” he said. “Do not consult anyone about killing infidel Americans… Go after the scum of the earth and its greatest criminals. That is Trump, JD Vance, Elon Musk. Go after their families or anyone close to politicians of the White House.”

Al-Awlaki is wanted for planning many terror plots and inciting violence around the world, and the U.S. State Department has already offered a $6 million reward for his services.

His most recent warnings coincide with growing worries about internal extremism and increased geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Along with praising earlier unsuccessful attempts to kill Trump in 2024—one in September close to his Florida home and another in July during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania—the message also mentioned recent antisemitic incidents.

Trump and his supporters have frequently warned of heightened terror dangers, and these threats seem to support those worries. Trump responded by enforcing a contentious travel ban that applied to citizens of 12 countries with a large Muslim population.

As of this writing, neither the Secret Service nor the U.S. State Department had responded to the footage.
