A Nigerian guy who suffers from epilepsy has expressed his outrage after his father allegedly ejected him from the house due to his illness.
A post on the well-known social media site TikTok disclosed this. The individual claims that he was sent to the hospital after experiencing an epileptic episode recently.
However, upon returning home after treatment, his father refused to let him into the house.
According to him, his father informed him he was old enough to handle his own problems.
The man further disclosed that in the hopes that the pastor would step in, he brought up the matter with the church where his father is a member.
His father persisted in his insistence in spite of this. He also brought the matter before a police station, where he invited his father, but the guy refused to let him into the house.
In his words: “After leaving the hospital, I went back home. When I got home, my dad refused to let me enter. He said I’m claiming to know more than him, that I should go and fight my battle myself.”
“He said I’m old enough. I literally told him I’m battling a chronic condition and how do you expect me to fight all the battles myself? He was like, ‘That’s your business, go fight your battles yourself.”
