Rapper Odumodublvck has dismissed claims by some fellow artists accusing others of using streaming farms, suggesting such accusations are often just a cover for their own underperformance.
Although Odumodublvck himself had made similar comments in the past, he now asserts that artists who repeatedly raise the issue are doing so as a way to rationalize their low streaming numbers.
He maintained that the existence of streaming farms does not hinder genuinely popular music from achieving success on the charts.
He further argued that those pushing these allegations are driven by personal doubts and self-esteem issues.
On his X account, the rapper wrote, “Dear public,
Do not let them deceive you. No matter how much a song is stream farmed, if your song is good and the people love it, it will show.
All this one na small pikin scopes and antics. Insecurities. Trynna prepare the table for incase you fail. Losers.”
His remarks come in response to recent criticisms from fellow Nigerian artists Blaqbonez and Magixx, who voiced concern over what they described as the damaging effects of streaming farms on the country’s music industry.
