Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, offered his thoughts on the team’s 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

They have already suffered nine defeats in this Premier League season.

In the second half, Forest took the lead through Nicolas Dominguez, but Marcus Rashford equalised the score when Matt Turner made a mistake.

With a late Morgan Gibbs-White finish, they scored the most points possible.

After the game, Ten Hag told Sky Sports, “It’s obvious the result is very disappointing.” We ought to have given these times more of our attention. Before the half, we produced less. [Enough] wasn’t done by us. It was improved in the second half.

“We are losing the game by a goal and you saw the fight in the team. We had our chances, the football in the second half was better. They kept believing and going until the end but of course when the result is this, we are disappointed.”
