Spain midfielder Rodri is on the verge of becoming the 10th player in football history to win the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the Ballon d’Or.

The Spanish international is expected to captain the reigning European champions in this year’s World Cup final.

The 31-year-old has already secured both the Ballon d’Or and the UEFA Champions League during his time with Manchester City.

A World Cup triumph would see him join an elite group of football legends who have completed the remarkable trio of major honours.
