Nollywood actor Laide Olabanji has cautioned Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over his political decisions, predicting that voters in the state could reject the All Progressives Congress, APC, in favour of Peter Obi.

Olabanji made the remarks in a video recorded in Yoruba, where he criticised Adeleke’s political choices and accused the governor of failing to appreciate the support he received from Osun residents during difficult periods.

The actor recalled how the people stood behind Adeleke despite the political challenges he faced from the APC, questioning why the governor would now take a position he believes could undermine their interests.

“Despite all the problems and battles the APC put you through, Osun people stood by you. Is this how you want to repay them?” Olabanji said.

He further argued that residents were unwilling to endure another four years of hardship and expressed confidence that they would once again vote against the ruling party.

“Osun people are not ready to suffer anymore. They don’t want to suffer another four years,” he said.

The actor also forecast a victory for Obi in Osun State, urging the public to remember his prediction.

“Write down today’s date. Peter Obi will be the choice of Osun people. Note my words, Peter Obi will win in Osun,” he said.
