Poland winger Jakub Kamiński has warned that his side will show improvement when they take on Nigeria’s Super Eagles in an international friendly scheduled for Wednesday at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
Kamiński made the remarks during his post-match interview following Poland’s 2-0 loss to Ukraine over the weekend.
Recall that strikes from Roman Yaremchuk and Andriy Yarmolenko secured victory for Ukraine against Poland on Sunday.
“It’s obvious that some of us were playing together for the first time, and it’s normal that sometimes there was a lack of automaticity,” Kamiński said in a quote relayed by Sportowefakty.
“We still have the match against Nigeria, and we will definitely improve the elements that weren’t working today.”
Nigeria will head into Wednesday’s encounter in Warsaw with a depleted squad.
The development follows the withdrawal of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Femi Azeez, Samson Tijani, Alhassan Yusuf and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro from head coach Eric Chelle’s squad for the friendly fixture.
